What is an AES?
AES is a signature that guarantees the identity of the signatory, his or her exclusive link with the document signed, and the integrity of the document. It enables the detection of any post-signature modification.

How do I sign using Oodrive Sign AES?
The signing process is very simple, and takes just 3 steps. First, you’ll need your smartphone and a scanned QR code issued by Oodrive Sign.
- Scan your identity document (ID card, passport, driving license or residence permit).
- Perform a few additional actions (facial recognition) to further verify and validate your identity
- Enter the SMS code (OTP) sent to your phone to sign the document.
When should I use an advanced electronic signature?
AES is particularly suitable for documents and transactions that require enhanced identity verification, but do not require the “qualified” (QES) level. It is ideal for :
