Oodrive, a leader in trusted collaboration in France and Europe, becomes a mission-driven company.
The status of a mission-driven company enables Oodrive to reaffirm its purpose: to guarantee digital trust for organizations’ sensitive data. This ambition is reflected in its commitment to providing protection against extraterritorial interference laws, contributing to European digital independence, and effectively protecting the assets of both public and private organizations.
In this context, Oodrive has strengthened its articles of association by including three major objectives:
- Ensuring the security and confidentiality of organizations’ sensitive data
- Promoting European digital sovereignty and independence
- Combining the protection of sensitive data with sobriety, ethics and inclusion
Introduced by the PACTE law in 2019, the status of a mission-driven company is a legal designation that allows a company to include in its articles of association a purpose as well as specific social and environmental objectives. This framework ensures transparency, measurement and the effective implementation of the commitments made, through the establishment of a mission committee responsible for monitoring the execution of these objectives, the publication of a dedicated annual report, and regular oversight by an independent third-party body.
Stanislas de Rémur, President and co-founder of Oodrive, stated:
“Embedding our purpose in our articles of association means turning a conviction into a long-term commitment: guaranteeing digital trust by protecting sensitive data and contributing to European sovereignty. Joining the still limited circle of mission-driven companies is both a source of pride and a responsibility. This milestone commits Oodrive and all its teams to meeting a demanding ambition, in the service of responsible performance.”
Carried by the entire organization—its management, shareholders and employees—for 25 years, Oodrive’s mission takes on particular significance in the current context and is now firmly anchored in the long term.
