Linxea has been a leader in online life insurance and savings since 2001. The company’s mission is to make savings accessible to as many people as possible by offering a wide range of low-cost products. Registered with the French Financial Markets Authority (AMF) and the Organization for the Register of Insurance Intermediaries (ORIAS), the company carries out regulated activities. Its teams support customers in the following four areas: savings, retirement, real estate, and tax exemption.
To support the expansion of online insurance subscriptions and offer a simplified customer journey, Linxea has adopted Oodrive Sign, the secure and eIDAS-compliant electronic signature solution. Initially, Linxea offered a subscription process that required customers to return to paper after an initial digital step in order to sign and return contracts by post. This break in the customer journey was a barrier to contracting and required a team of 10 people to manually process the mail. Linxea therefore called on Oodrive to deploy Oodrive Sign, define a new digital contracting process, and ensure the authentication of signatories directly online.

One of the main challenges of online contracting for a life insurance product is providing guarantees regarding the identity of a potential subscriber. To comply with the regulatory framework for online brokerage (particularly for anti-money laundering) and guarantee the probative value of digital contracting, Linxea opted for an advanced signature level. Thanks to the prior verification of identity documents and the authentication of the signatory via an SMS , and an electronic certificate, insurers have strong guarantees regarding the identity of the subscriber.

Following the immediate subscription to the life insurance contract, customer satisfaction has increased and the online conversion rate has risen by 30%.
