Oodrive renews its ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and HDS 2.0 certifications, reaffirming its high standards for data protection

Oodrive, a leading provider of trusted digital collaboration in Europe and SecNumCloud-certified by ANSSI since 2019, announces the renewal of its ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and HDS certifications under their new versions, which feature stricter requirements in response to current threats and data sovereignty challenges.

This renewal confirms, over the long term, the robustness of Oodrive’s framework for information security, personal data protection, and healthcare data hosting. It demonstrates a consistent commitment to providing its customers with a reliable, controlled cloud environment that complies with the strictest regulatory requirements.

The ISO 27001 certification attests to the ongoing effectiveness of Oodrive’s information security management system. This updated version introduces new controls and a modernized structure aligned with contemporary cyber threats. It significantly strengthens Oodrive’s security posture, particularly in terms of risk management, business continuity, access protection, and operational resilience. The ISO 27701 extension, which has also been renewed, reinforces this approach by validating rigorous personal data governance, fully aligned with the GDPR, with particular attention paid to the protection of user rights, consent management, and responsible data use.

The renewal of HDS in its 2.0 version further confirms Oodrive as a trusted long-term partner for healthcare stakeholders—institutions, insurers, mutual insurance companies, and professionals. HDS 2.0 significantly strengthens data sovereignty requirements and introduces new transparency obligations regarding risks associated with access outside the European Union, a particularly sensitive issue for healthcare sector clients. This update provides a stricter framework for critical uses related to the storage, sharing, and collaboration on medical data and sensitive documents across different business units.

Against a backdrop of increasingly stringent compliance requirements—particularly in public and private tenders within regulated sectors (healthcare, finance, industry, and the public sector)—the renewal of these certifications strengthens Oodrive’s offering: a trusted cloud and French-developed collaborative solutions designed for organizations handling sensitive data and subject to strict regulatory constraints.

Regarding this renewal, Mohamed Ait Saidi, Oodrive’s CISO, states:

«The renewal of our ISO 27001, ISO 27701, and HDS 2.0 certifications, in their most recent versions, confirms the strength of our technical foundation and our security governance. This is the result of ongoing efforts to guarantee our customers a trusted cloud capable of meeting the highest standards for the protection of sensitive data.»
